Q1: What file formats do you accept for CNC quoting?
A: We accept STEP, STP, IGS, IGES, SLDPRT and PDF drawings for quotation and manufacturing.
Q2: Can you quote from only PDF drawings?
A: PDF is available for preliminary quotation. 3D files are required for precise tolerance and batch production.
Q3: Can you manufacture from STL files?
A: STL is mainly for 3D printing. For CNC machining, STEP files are recommended for accurate tool path generation.
Q4: Do you keep customer drawings confidential?
A: Yes. We strictly protect customer design files, sign NDAs if required, and never share project data with third parties.
Q5: Can you modify or optimize CNC drawings?
A: Yes. Our engineering team provides DFM design optimization to reduce cost, avoid deformation and improve machining feasibility.
